Day 15 of Lockdown
My beauty must-haves is quite simple. Once I start liking a certain product, I stick with it until I decide to try something new. These products, I’ve been using for a long while now, is basically what my list of essentials is comprised of.
These are the products I use on a “normal day”, when I just have to go to school or work. I start with the moisturiser (leave it for like five minutes), put on sunblock, do my brows, dab on some blush (I mix both), chapstick, and then lipstick. I rarely ever finish a lipstick since I frequently change it — I tend to use a certain brand/shade for like weeks at a time. It’s been two months since I started using the Bobbi Brown one and I’m still just obsessed.
And when there’s something I need to get dressed up for, if I’m traveling, or just feel like putting in more effort on a normal day, I use these products. It’s basically the same as when it’s just a normal day, except for a few additions. I still start with my moisturiser, and sunblock, then apply foundation. I set my face with a translucent powder (my skin, thank heavens, doesn’t get oily so I rarely use powder), then proceed with my eyebrows. When I feel like it, I put some eyeshadow on and mascara (not in the picture, because I lowkey hate removing mascara, so I rarely put mascara on). For the final step, I dab on a combination of two blushes, chapstick, and then lipstick.
I probably got the steps of applying all these products jumbled up so forgive me. Hehe I’m not a make-up expert. 🙂
