9AM, Manila | It’s a bright Saturday morning in the city that I have been calling my second home since 2012. I’m taking my sweet time having breakfast — coffee, Skyflakes, and an orange, before I get ready to head out.

Today is quite eventful since I usually just stay in and recuperate on Saturdays whenever I’m in Manila. But today, I’m heading over to The Fort to “hang out” with one of my all time favorite bloggers. Afterwards, I’ll be meeting Jik in Taft, head to Angeles, and spend the rest of the weekend there.

The past few months I’ve been away from my blog have been spent getting caught up at work, family weekends and events, and wallowing over the fact that 2017 is going by way too fast. This year has been great, and as much as I want Christmas season to start rolling around, I just can’t wrap my head around the reality that it’s already the 9th month. (And the crazy inevitable feeling of not really accomplishing anything in life).

Not much has been happening in my life, honestly. Truthfully though, I really miss traveling. This time last year, I was off to new places and at this point, I’d give quite a lot to be able to feel alive because of being in cities far away from home.

It felt really good writing here again, and I should do this more often. But that’s it for now, I should start getting ready considering how slow I am. Haha

  1. Sounds great that you are having a fun time. Love your other posts with their loads of photos. Why not also do more posts on Taiwan? Would love to read your adventures there for some inspiration for my next trip there. Grateful if you can also support my blog!
